Why does the number show "--°"?

The app needs a network connection and a place. Allow location, or tap the place name at the top and add a city by name.

How do I turn the number and switch between °C and °F?

Drag anywhere on the scene. Swipe up for the hours, swipe sideways for the days, and hold the number to switch between °C and °F.

How do I add the widgets?

Long press the Home Screen, tap the plus and search for Small Skies. Lock Screen widgets live under Customize on the Lock Screen. Widgets show the place the app showed last.

Where do I change the landscape and the digits?

Settings lets you pick one of 40 landscapes, choose solid or glass digits, and change how much the scene moves. Reduce Motion in iOS Settings is respected too.

Where do the weather warnings come from?

Warnings come from the authority Apple Weather uses for your country. They appear under the headline while they are active.
